IS THE DJONDJON SPICY?

No, Djondjon is a traditional Haitian mushroom known for its distinctive earthy, umami flavor with subtle notes of truffle.

IS IT GLUTEN FREE AND VEGAN?

Our djondjon paste is both gluten-free and vegan, making it suitable for a wide range of dietary needs.

HOW DO I PRESERVE IT?

For the djondjon (black mushroom) paste:

  • After opening, preserve it by adding a thin layer of oil on top.
  • Recommended to refrigerate after opening.

For the piman (hot chilli pepper) paste:

  • Recommended to refrigerate after opening.
HOW SPICY IS THE PIMAN?

Our hot sauce is made with Piman Zwazo, a type of chili pepper found in Haiti. Known for its small size but fiery heat and commonly referred to as Carolina Cayenne, this pepper has a Scoville Heat Units (SHU) ranging from 30,000 to 50,000.

HOW LONG SHIPPING NORMALLY TAKE?

As soon as your order is shipped we will send you a track & trace code by mail. This way you can track your order.

Keep in mind that it can take up to 48 hours before the track & trace is available.

Processing and Shipping Time: It may take 5 to 7 business days for your items to be processed, packaged, and shipped (sometimes less).

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?

Once a shipping label is created with your address, you will receive an email with tracking information.

Delivery Responsibility: Once an item is shipped, Lakay will not be responsible for stolen or lost item(s).
HOW DO I MANAGE MY SUBSCRIPTION?

You can manage your subscription by logging into your account on our website. Once you're logged in, navigate to the "Account Settings" or "Subscription" section, where you can view your current plan and make any necessary changes. Please note that while there is a 3-month commitment period, you can cancel your subscription anytime after that. If you need further assistance, our customer support team is always available to help.

MY ORDER ARRIVED DAMAGED. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If your order arrived damaged, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible. Provide them with your order number, a description of the damage, and any relevant photos. We will work quickly to resolve the issue

DO LAKAY PRODUCTS COME IN A BOX?

Yes, Lakay products come in a box. Our packaging is designed to ensure that your items arrive in perfect condition.
