Djondjon mushroom grows exclusively during rainy seasons and in random locations, making the mushroom's harvest almost an act of God. Our farmers start preparing themselves from June to November to handpick them and facilitate the triage between poisonous and non-poisonous leaves and it can take anywhere between 3 to 6 hours to get a complete batch.
